Coming to America? (Spring 2021)

Members of our FirstChurch teams over the past ten years all agree that Cuba is a Book of Acts experience - a 21st century version of the first church, and a model for church that God has used to fuel spiritual awakenings in nations for centuries. I have watched how the simplicity of the house-to-house model has impacted Cuba for Jesus Christ and have asked the Lord, "Is it time for the house-to-house model to replace the bricks and mortar of the church in America?"

In 2020, the COVID pandemic, government regulations and social media tried to redefine the what, where, when and how of the church in America. Could God be using this subtle and growing persecution in our culture to open the hearts of believers and the doors of our traditional churches to a new house-to-house model for church in America. It would be a church devoted to intimacy through simplicity, a church that can provide a spiritually broken nation with a fresh and powerful revelation of Jesus Christ. Stay tuned!
