WHY WE GO
FirstChurch Ministries has been called to serve the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the nation of Cuba by helping to build bridges of cooperation between pastors and churches who share a common vision of Cuba for Christ.
We provide leadership training, ministry tools, funding for special projects and humanitarian aid to pastors of all faiths across the island.
“Those who can .. must go! Those who have .. must give! All must pray!
“Pastor, we have never accepted your invitation to come to your church … why are you feeding us now?”
There are times when those who are called to minister to the spiritual needs of people must also be willing to meet the physical needs of those they are called to serve.
FirstChurch has begun to partner with Children’s Hunger Fund to deliver containers of food and other humanitarian aid to Cuba. The distribution of these “loaves and fishes” by the churches is meeting a critical need, especially among the children and the elderly, and also providing a powerful witness for Christ.
